LAKE EFFECT HARMONY CHORUS
Lake Effect Harmony Chorus is a local chapter of Sweet Adeline's International, an organization whose members are dedicated to the promotion and preservation of 4- part harmony a capella singing. This dynamic and energetic group of women hail from some 17 communities throughout Western New York, and represent a wide variety of diverse educational and career backgrounds. Presently, there are 25 members ranging in age from 21 -82 yrs. Under the co- direction of Sonne Durphy and Sue Gentile, Lake Effect Harmony chorus has been entertaining at various community and civic events throughout Western New York for many years. An outstanding repertoire of song favorites in jazz, contemporary, Broadway, swing, decade favorites, and patriotic music, has gained Lake Effect Harmony great respect throughout our communities, and kept them in high demand.

We are proud to announce that we have achieved 3rd place in division A of Sweet Adeline's Region 16 competition on April 30, 2011. Congratulations to all the competitors, we enjoyed listening and singing with you!
